Jump Seat to Center Console Swap Complete! 2017 XLT 5.0

@Mika
Yeah, that’d be a tricky project.

What exactly did you change?

I swapped out the middle jump seat for a full center console that connects to the dash. Should’ve taken a before photo.

I thought I’d hate not having a center console, but the jump seat has actually been pretty useful. Plus, I like having a 6th seat option. Still, I’d love a better screen with CarPlay.

Same here. You can find a used OEM screen and bezel for around $500.

The jump seat is super useful. I ordered it specifically for my '22.

To each their own.

Still can’t stand the column shifter… center console all the way.

Looks awesome!

Thanks!

Saved this. Love the setup.

This is why I wouldn’t buy a truck without a center console.

Good learning experience and a chance to deep clean the interior.

I’d call that a downgrade. Bench seats are more practical than a bulky console.

Interesting take, but I’m happy with the upgrade.

Want to buy my old jump seat?

No thanks, I already have a bench.

I need to do this for my F-250. Where’d you get the parts, and how much did it cost?

Check my list in the comments. I got most of the parts from eBay and a local junkyard. Total was around $500. You don’t need the AC ducting unless you want the air to come out of the console instead of under the seats.

@Finley
I’m thinking of ordering from the dealer, but I’m sure it’ll cost more. Looks great, though. I have the same trim color.
