New 2024! Going to be a TRX Killer 😂

Just picked up an STX 4x4 Black Out Package! Whipple supercharger is on backorder, but should be installed in a few months. Also added Katzkin leather seats and a paint-matched grille around the lights. Got a pretty solid deal—$60K plus TTL.

Is $60K for an STX a good deal or just average? Genuine question.

Depends on the state taxes and whether that price includes the Whipple supercharger, install, and the extras. If it’s just for the truck itself, then no, that’s not a great deal.

@Madden
Yeah, my local dealer has the same truck (maybe a different engine) for $45K new.

@Joss
That’s a lot for a 2.7L. Mine has the V8 and was actually less just for the truck itself.

@Joss
Also, you gotta factor in the Whipple supercharger, paint-matched grille, and Katzkin leather seats.

Hell yeah! I can’t wait to see this in its full glory!

The condensation in the 2024 headlights drives me nuts. I don’t understand why they didn’t make them fully sealed units.

Dude, that pisses me off too. I need to figure out how to seal them properly.

This issue has been around forever—not just on 2024s.

@Haru
I thought it was a recent thing. I drive out to the mountains a lot and end up with chunks of ice inside the lenses.

Wow, that’s bad. I’ve had a 2014 FX4 and a 2022 FX4, both did it, and I think my Bronco had the same issue. I worked up north in -20°F to -35°F with heavy snow, and never had actual ice chunks inside. Still, I agree—it’s annoying to see condensation in the headlights and taillights.
