I’ve got a light sleeper at home, but the beep never bothered us. But yeah, there should be an option to turn it off.

It took me 2 minutes to unplug it, and now it’s quiet.

Nope, it still stops closing if you shift out of park, even if it’s almost done.

Unlikely, there’s probably missing hardware in non-PAAK models.

But the app already lets us do this on some trucks. It’s a software limitation, not hardware.

Quick update: frunk still stops closing when shifting out of park. HVAC still shuts off when the frunk opens. No real improvements.
Good to know. The frunk and tailgate have always been a little finicky.
Does this replace the dealer-installed frunk fix? OP, what was your last update?
