All ceramic here. I’ve got 80% air on the windshield, 15% on the front two windows, and 5% on all the rear windows.
I kept mine stock. The RCMP was cracking down on window tint around the time I got my truck. They’ll ignore actual crimes but love ticketing for tint. So I didn’t bother.
20% to match the factory rears and stay legal.
I’m keeping the factory tint for now. It’s darker than my last truck’s anyway.
I went with 5% everywhere except the windshield. Gotta have it in this Florida heat.
All ceramic: 20% on the fronts, 70% on the windshield, and 20% on the sunroof. Next time, I’ll probably do 50% on the windshield since 70% is almost like nothing.
35%, officer. I wouldn’t dream of anything darker.
I just tell them to match the back. Not sure about the percentage.
I started with 35% ceramic all around and on the windshield. Later added 5% ceramic on the rear and back windows and layered 15% on the front. I kept tweaking it until it felt right.
Keeping it legal. Don’t want the hassle.
I have 0% all around and 70% on the windshield. It looks great, but I wouldn’t recommend going that dark. 5% is probably more practical.
I did 5% on all sides and the back, which already had a factory 18% smoke. Also, 35% on the windshield with a 5% strip.
Dark.
20% everywhere and 35% on the windshield.
I went with 30% on the front doors and nothing on the windshield or sunroof. Sometimes I like having more light.
My state only allows 32%, but mine’s 27%. For inspections, I roll the windows down and pull the fuses. It’s worked so far.
I’ve got the darkest legal tint in Texas with an 85% heat-rejection film. It wasn’t cheap, but it’s been worth it.

Don’t forget the windshield too. Even a light film makes a big difference.
Still stock.
Ceramic 25% on the front, 5% on the back, and a visor strip. Probably not legal, but it looks great.
